Cookies Policy – UAE Calculators

Cookies Policy

I keep cookie usage to an absolute minimum. This page explains the few cookies I do use, why I use them, and how you can control them.

Last Updated: June 1, 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, track basic performance, and improve your experience. They do not harm your device or access your personal files.

2. How I Use Cookies

I use cookies strictly for essential site functions and anonymous analytics. I never use advertising cookies. I do not sell your data to ad networks.

Your Calculator Data Is Never Cookied

The numbers you type into the calculators (like your salary or service dates) are processed in your browser’s memory. They are never saved in cookies or sent to my servers.

3. Types of Cookies I Use

I only use two categories of cookies on this site:

  • Essential Cookies: These are required for the website to function properly. For example, if the site uses a content delivery network (CDN) like Cloudflare, it may set a cookie to verify your browser for security purposes.
  • Analytics Cookies: I use privacy-focused analytics to see which pages are visited most often and how users navigate the site. This helps me fix errors and decide which new calculators to build. The data is aggregated and completely anonymous.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services I use may set their own cookies:

  • Google Fonts: May set a cookie to cache font files so the site loads faster on your next visit.
  • Formspree: If you use the contact form, Formspree may set a cookie to prevent spam and ensure the form submits securely.
  • Cloudflare: Sets essential cookies to protect the site from malicious traffic and improve performance.

I do not control these third-party cookies. You can check the privacy policies of these providers for more details.

5. What I Do Not Use

To be clear, I never use:

  • Advertising or targeting cookies.
  • Social media tracking pixels.
  • Cookies that remember your calculation inputs.
  • Cross-site tracking identifiers.

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have full control over cookies. You can block or delete them by changing your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are currently stored on your device.
  • Delete all or specific cookies.
  • Block cookies from specific sites or all sites.
  • Block all third-party cookies.

If you disable essential cookies, some parts of the site may not work correctly. However, disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the calculators at all.

7. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Cookies Policy occasionally. If I make changes, I will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. I recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed.

8. Contact Me

If you have any questions about my use of cookies, please contact me.
